The dipping probe, directly equipped with a pre-calibrated PSt3 or PSt6 sensor at its end, is designed for different applications in the cellar. Several lengths are available according to the required use: 5 m, 10 m and 15 m. The dipping probes are used to perform dissolved oxygen measurements directly into the wine, in a tank or other container, and at different levels (top, middle, bottom). When measures are done in large volumes of wine, a weight is necessary to keep the probe immersed. The probe can also be used to measure oxygen in gas phase, for example to check inert gas level in the headspace of a tank. Dipping probes have the same connection type as the optical fiber.
